The Daily Iowan and the concept of a free exchange of ideas

[I would suppose that this U Iowa student journalist reflects the state of mind that is forwarded relentlessly to her and to all U Iowa students by her faculty advisors. Why would it not?]

Good evening, Mr. Smith;

How the f*** did you get my email address, and why in the hell do you think I'd be receptive to Holocaust denial propaganda? Take your anti-Semitic trash somewhere else, and maybe make a visit to the National Holocaust Memorial in Washington, D.C. to see what the "truth" really is. F*** off.

Subject: Thank you for your email

Good morning, staff at CODOH;

How dare you even insinuate that the Holocaust was a fabricated event. I don't know how you managed to access the ListServe at the University of Iowa, but I am physically outraged that you even managed to get one of your hate-filled emails through to my inbox. Your organization is an absolute abomination to all Americans; I suggest you take your neo-Nazi anti-Semitic views elsewhere. We do not tolerate hate speech in Iowa. Thank you;

A very interesting, not to say pithy, example.

Do share others like it as you receive them - we know it's your daily diet, and has been for how long?
